Foodbank Visit

On Thursday 5th May, the school council representatives, from years 3 - 6,  visited the Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank in Blurton.

The children learned how important their work is and how many people in Stoke-on-Trent rely on their services.

The children had an opportunity to label and sort the food in the warehouse and then went on to visit one of the distribution centres.

 

Harvest Festival

We celebrated the Harvest Festival. We were lucky to have an assembly delivered by the Foodbank on 23rd September, so we were really aware of the need to give generously.

We had a further assembly on Monday 30th September, followed by a Harvest Mass, in church on the 2nd October.

Stoke-on-Trent Food Bank received 106.09kg of food, thank you for your donations.
