Walk for Hunger

Following a CAFOD assembly, focusing our minds on the cause ‘Walk against Hunger’, the children took part in a sponsored walk on Friday 18^th March! We all had fun walking, jogging and chatting around the all-weather pitch and we raised £308.30 for these worthy causes, to stamp out hunger throughout the world!

We will be splitting the funds raised between CAFOD and the Ukrainian Appeal.

A MASSIVE thank-you to the St. Mary’s Catholic Academy community. We have responded to the call of support for the people of Ukraine. You have been SO generous with all of your donations which Mr. Murphy took to the collection point on Friday 4th March…

 

All of the classes have added St. Francis into our class prayer

intentions as he is the patron Saint of World Peace.
