School Direct
School Direct is a new route into Initial Teacher Training that places the school based programme at the heart of the experience. The main aim of School Direct is to allow schools to recruit and select the trainees they want with the expectation that they will then go on to work within the school or group of schools in which they were trained, although there is no guarantee of employment.
Information on School Direct can be found at http://www.education.gov.uk/get-into-teaching/apply-for-teacher-training/apply-now
