RE
Our Class Saint – Saint Mary – Mother of Jesus
Lent – Children will learn that God is the Father of Jesus and that the sign of the cross is about God and Jesus. They will know that purple is a colour used at this time.
Holy Week – Children will learn that sometimes people go away and that people die.
Easter - Children will learn that Jesus came back to life and that Alleluia is a word used to show that we are happy.

Reading Expectations |
Library books – Class library books will be changed weekly, on a Wednesday. Please put your library book in your book bag on a Wednesday to be changed.
Reading books – When the nursery children have a reading book, this will be a picture book. Once this transition happens, please try to take the time to read their schoolbook 3x a week. This will help to prepare them for a reading routine throughout their time at St Marys and further!
We also encourage reading of children’s favourite books, traditional tales and all other books they love!
PE
Please bring in your P.E bag and ensure that ALL clothes are clearly labelled.
P.E bags will remain in school and we will send them home at the end of each half term
