At St Mary’s we want our pupils to have high aspirations and a wide range of opportunities.

This includes raising an awareness to the world of work.

Through curriculum topics and school visits, children will experience and question, skills and knowledge needed for their future.

This will include activities such as confidence building and public speaking.

On Tuesday 25^th February, a number of children from Class 5 and 6 participated in the final stage of ‘The Stoke Primary Schools Challenge’, at Staffordshire University, Leek Road Campus.

St Mary's school were 1 of 10 schools selected to put forward their collective stationery design.

On this enterprise day children, as part of presenting their stationery design product for Ryman, were engaged in many activities that demonstrated team building and presenting their product to a small panelled audience.
