Foodbank Visit

 

On Thursday 5th May, the school council representatives,

from years 3 - 6,  visited the Stoke on Trent Foodbank in Blurton.

 

The children learned how important their work is and how many people

in Stoke on Trent rely on their services.

 

The children had an opportunity to label and sort the food in the warehouse and then went on to visit one of the distribution centres.

Harvest Festival

 

We celebrated the Harvest Festival We were lucky to have an assembly delivered by CAFOD ‘Go Green Harvest’ on 21^st September so we were really aware of the need to give generously. We had a further assembly on Monday 4^th October, followed by a Harvest Mass, in church on the 6^th October. We all gave generously and our donations were gladly received by the Stoke-on-Trent Food Bank
